Vintage Antique Cowboy Gal Leg Spur By Jr McchesneyVintage antique western collectible gal leg spur by j. R. Mcchesney. J. R, mcchesney started making spurs in the broken arrow indian territory in 1887. His hard work and innovative desgins made him the most collectible and popular spur and bit maker of his era. eH passed away in 1928. This spur was made in the early 1900's before nocona bought his business in 1928 and started marking them. tI is 100% authentic and very collectible. The engraving is wihtout a doubt mcchesneys. Measurements are bands 1/2, gal leg shanks 2 1/2 rowels 1 1/2. A small amount of the silver mounting is missing which just adds to the authenticity. After all this collectible spur is nearly 100 years old. Never a reserve on any of our auctions. Don't miss this one it is a rare find. Like what you see?
