Vintage Bronze Indian Chief Buerman Spurs With ChainsLostsailor store. Vintage bronze indian chief buerman spurs with chains. Up for bidding is this pair of riding spurs made by august buerman and stamped with hercules bronze and his famous star logo.
Thye also have a raised (almost 1/2) head of an indian chief on each spur, i am not sure what metal they are made of but they are silver colored, untarnished and in nice detail. They do not have the north and judd anchor stamped on them so it might date them back before they joined up, i believe that was in 1926. The leather boot straps appear to be in good shape with some roughness on the inside but being i don't know how old or dried out they may be i wouln't put too much faith in using them on the ranch, the buckles are fine. They measure approximately 2 3/4 inchse at the boot opening and 6 1/2 inches overall and have double heel chains. They have 10 point 1 5/8 rowels which are straight and spni freely.
